BYD delivered 34 electric buses in Sweden this month, following the first delivery of 15 in Madrid last month. Among them, 18 buses were designed using BYD cutting-edge with turning diameter only 24 meters. Every bus has 37 seats and can carry up to 105 passengers. The other 16 12-meter low-floor buses are equipped with 26 seats and can carry 68 passengers.
So far, BYD has delivered about 170 electric buses in Sweden, with operating mileage exceeding 7 million kilometers. Last month it added another 13 12-meter electric buses. Looking at the Nordic market, BYD has won orders for about 300 electric buses, and more orders are expected in the second half of the year. Byd's electric bus has now spread to more than 10 cities in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and other countries, and Northern Europe has gradually grown into one of the most important markets for BYD in Europe.
